Bone Densitometry (DEXA) Scans
For various examinations, you may be required to fast, have a full bladder or stop taking particular medications. General examination preparation can be found here. However, you will be given detailed instructions when you make your appointment. For further clarification please speak to one of our staff by calling (03) 9473 8800
MRI - Please note that it is not suitable to have an MRI with SCMI if you have a cardiac pacemaker, brain aneurysm clips or cochlear implant. Please let our staff know if you have any of the above when making your appointment.
