An Orthopantomogram (or OPG) is a panoramic X-ray of the upper and lower jaw, including the teeth. The OPG unit has been designed specially to rotate around the patients head for approximately 20 seconds to produce a two dimensional image.
A Lateral Cephalogram is a X-ray taken from the side of the face to show the bone and facial contours in a single image. A Lateral Cephalogram is usually key to diagnosing and treating orthodontic problems.
